C-Span Interview
Blood Work Holly Tucker provides an account of the first blood transfusions, which took place in France in 1667, and the fallout from those experiments. Professor Tucker also compared those events to societal concerns about current scientific research. She responded to questions from members of the audience.
This was the first in the series “Medical Museum Science CafÔ held by the National Museum of Health and Medicine in the Fenton Room of the Silver Spring Civic Building.
